My Doctrinal Statement

Statement:

I confess and declare that Jesus is Lord, and God raised Him from the dead.

I confess and declare that Christ Jesus came in the flesh (He came down from Heaven and was born of the Virgin Mary and became a man;-- the Son of Man).

I confess and declare we ought to keep and walk in the commandments of God and believe on the Name of Jesus.

I confess and declare we ought to love our neighbor as ourself.

I confess and declare we ought to love the Lord our God with all our mind, body, strength and soul.  And love each other.

I confess and declare that the Lord our God; the Lord is one.

I confess and declare we ought to speak truth to our neighbor; and walk in the truth.  As God commands us.

I confess and declare that he/she who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.  And he/she who doesn't abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God.  Review Matthew chapters 5,6, and 7.

I will end my statement with the following verse and passage; which I hold dearly:

1 Timothy 1:15

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

Matthew 26:6-13

And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, 7 a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. 8 But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste? 9 For this fragrant oil might have been sold for much and given to the poor.”

10 But when Jesus was aware of it, He said to them, “Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a good work for Me. 11 For you have the poor with you always, but Me you do not have always. 12 For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My burial. 13 Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.
